I have been getting questions about my art rep, and yes its true from what you suspect. I recently became independent again for dealing my own art, and it was my own choice.
After a year of trying it out, I missed talking to my clients directly and getting to send them small personalized sketches in the commissions I use to do when I first started out. Art is very personal to me, even though its still business, I found friends in this profession and I'd like to keep making those bonds with both artists and collectors.
I'm still very grateful from the learning experience I had with my art rep (Understanding how to value my work and how this business runs). I have no regrets.
